English, is now incredibly important not only in our education but also in our real life. Have you ever thought why people have to learn English? Firstly, it is agreed that everybody, from adults to youths or even old people, have to learn English because of the development of our world. Learning English makes us easy to find a good job or convenient in trading. Today, most companies need their employees to know English to work with foreign companies facilely. In addition, English is useful to the traders since they sometimes have foreign customers. Secondly, travelling is much easier with English. If you travel to foreign countries, you really need an international language like English to communicate with foreigners. Therefore, you can make new friends. Moreover, learning English gives you opportunities to approach various cultures. Finally, many books, magazines, websites and TV shows are in English. You won’t have to rely on translation or subtitles to enjoy your favourite books, magazines, TV shows or films provided that you have a good knowledge of English. For examples, I love watching "The Ellen" show, an American game show, and I learn English by watching it without subtitles. All in all, I think learning English is advantagerous for all of us. So, how to learn English effectively? To my mind, the best way to learn English is mixing all the methods of learning- listening, reading and doing. You can learn English by listening to English music or watching English films. Beside, you can also accumulate English knowledge when you read a book in English. After doing those activities, why don’t you try to do some English exercises? By these ways, I do believe that you will be a good English learner in the near future.
